Mandala Botanicals was established in 2003 after Sandra's graduation from a year-long apprenticeship with renowned western herbalist Rosemary Gladstar. Sandra worked at Sage Mountain Herbal Retreat Center for over a decade, as an intern, gardener, program chef, assistant instructor, and conference staff for the WHC and IHS. In 2004 she completed a clinical herbalism course with Italian-American herbalist Guido Masé.
